I began building in Malibu, CA with an architect builder who's unique and beautiful homes were often published in House and Garden magazine. With that experience I learned enough to design and build my first home.

It was off the grid, and I was inspired to use solar and other types of alternative heating. After 20 years of building several types of homes, I wanted to create my version of the "home of the future". I researched many different types of sustainable structures and knew that I wanted to build a home that didn't use tree's, was extremely energy efficient, saved on fossil fuel consumption and is low maintenance. I also found that this structure is able to withstand enormous seismic loads, wind, fire, bugs and do this indefinitely with pleasing aesthetics.

With Hydronic heated stained concrete floors and artistic plaster ribbons it is a joy for my wife and me to live and feel safe in this fun space. This unique home has been featured on the Discovery Channel and we are currently living here today.

Since then my experience includes Insulated concrete forms or ICFS homes that are also very energy efficient. It is my passion to live in harmony on this planet while creating homes with long term considerations and I am excited for what is to come!
